How I met Barack Obama
I’ve met him at three campaign events. A fine man. He SHOULD be our next president. We could all be proud!

Yesterday, at the Coretta Scott King funeral. Did you hear him?!
Minorities DO NOT yet have equal rights in the U.S. How true, especially when we look back at Katrina relief.
Fun seeing “W” make his goofy expressions in the background!
I’ve heard him speak a couple of times. Most recently he spoke at a large outdoor rally with the other candidates for president at the time (Dean, Kerry, Gephardt, etc) prior to the 2004 election.
The rally ended and for hours Clinton just walked up and down the fence shaking hands with everyone who wanted to great him.
Meanwile, Howard Dean stood back from the fence 50 yards & talked on his cell phone.
Wonder why one was president & the other was not??
Last summer—with his new fiance (now wife). He was speaking at a peace rally and a county Democratic party picnic.
He is small of stature but giant of wisdom, grace, peace and determination.
I’ve heard him speak on at least 10 occassions and find him more intruiguing each time.
